About Our Cell Culture Laboratory
This lab provides principal investigators, other researchers and students from USM or non-USM with access to the facilities for culturing and maintaining mammalian and other cell types. Understanding that cells in culture are unavoidable tools in current research, this facility is successfully carrying out primary cultures as well as continuous cell line for various projects. This facility is also essential for studying cellular mechanism and for the screening of compounds with therapeutic potential. Cell culture research equipment available to include Biological safety cabinets class II, Inverted microscope, Carbon dioxide incubators, Refrigerated centrifuge and Water bath.

It is used to incubate samples in water at a constant temperature.
